Antigua’s Yepton Estate Cottages are located within half an acre of landscaped gardens, on a salt pond that offers sanctuary to the West Indian Whistling Duck, Pelicans, Blue and White Herons and many other exotic birds. The pond is full of fish and, if you bring your fishing rod, we may persuaded to join the birds in a little fishing. A quarter mile of white sandy beach called Loblolly Beach (also known as Yepton Beach) is within a few minutes walk away. The cottages are laid out, like a string of pearls, around a central swimming pool and each offer a full view of the water and the coconut palms lining the beach beyond. Only a handful of individual, self-catering cottages are available. But for the sing-song of the tree frogs and the cooing of the birds there is a little to disturb your tranquillity. The Studio Cottages are suitable for 2 persons and feature a well designed room with everything in it, i.e. a kitchenette, living and dining area and, of course, a very comfortable king size bed.
