En Cappadoce, au centre de la Turquie, du haut de son piton, à 1300 mètres d'altitude, le village d'Uçhisar domine un paysage grandiose creusé de vallées fertiles où mûrissent légumes et fruits que les paysans vous offrent avec générosité. Séduit par l'authenticité du lieu, un architecte français, Jacques Avizou, passionné de pierres sauvages, a entrepris de restaurer la partie la plus ancienne du village. Les maisons semi-troglodytes en terrasse, accrochées à la colline, abandonnées aux herbes folles, ont soudain retrouvé la vie. Ainsi sont nées Les Maisons de Cappadoce qui sont aujourd'hui proposées en location aux passionnés de voyages.
Yunak Evleri

Hotel Cappadocia Palace
Situated in the center of Urgup, the Cappadocia Palace is a traditional greek Guest house converted into a modern hotel with all comforts. The Building itself was located by One of the Largest Churches in Cappadocia, and used to accommodate the guests of the church in those days. The hotel is family-run, with a total of 18 rooms 4 of which is in cave, central heating in winter, en suite bathroom and constant hot water.
